Need a little education on Gurkha cigars.

I've been curious about this brand for a while but can't commit to a purchase because of bad reviews here and at top25cigar.com. What I'm really looking for is a strong recommendation on one of their cigars. I'd probably look to get a 5 pack at cbid before committing to a box. I don't mind the stronger cigars but don't like to get woozy when I smoke.

Alternatively, perhaps I can get a trade going. I've got some decent smokes to offer up. Thanks.

As with other brands there are full to light Gurkhas, most are at teh full side of the spectrum. It seems to be a brand of love or hate, CAO also seems to be that way. I'll pass on a CAO, but love me some Gurkhas. The devil site is the best way to buy them though.

definately get them at cbid, not worth it (IMHO) anywhere else-i like the regent & the royal brigade, that's about it-they're worth a try though, some people really like them

G3 and G5 are quiet nice also.
Nep warrior, ancient warrior, black dragon, regent, royal brig.

Wow I like more gurkhas then I realized. Probally leaving off a few also. Have some nice triple ligeros sitting here. Hell actually the black puro even grew on me after I let it sit for about a year.

I just got bombed by dunng and Volt! About 12 smokes or so...some look really tasty. Some giant ones too...I'm talking 2 hours or more maybe.

Thanks guys!:ss

Any time. It's easy to pass on smokes you like and want others to try. I can't remember what I packed up, post reviews on what you think.

I've had, and immensely enjoyed both the Ancient Warrior, and the Legends. I had the Legends Aniversario, but as far as I know it's the exact same blend as the regular Legend in perfecto form. Both were very smooth, and plenty flavorful. If I had any more of either I'd send a few in your direction, but alas, I'm out of Gurkhas.
