Indeed they will.
Beads are a great product and release or absorb RH.
Try heartfelt or cigarmony both will do you up right.
PS don't get hung up on RH 70 is fine
Get yourself a solid digital (digital in case you missed that) hygro when you putting your order in and maybe a calibration kit.
I moved into an apartment recently and I noticed that my humidor has raised in humidity. I took out the humidifier and it stays at 70-72. I was thinking about getting some 65 beads, but I am just wondering. Will the beads regulate the humidity down to 65?
I too have just moved. Over the last few days, my humi has reached levels of as high as 75 RH. I have taken out the humidification device completely and left the lid open and it doesn't drop. I do not have beads right now, but will order some as soon as the next opportunity arises. Any reccomendations on getting the RH down to normal levels in the meantime? The humi has been at the new house for 4 days now.
Also, if you are in a panic about the rh level, you can put a shot glass of DampRid in the humidor and it will drop the rh to a level where the beads [or your current humidifier] will have to raise it to 65%.
