Padron Maduros are my favorite smokes. Almost everything else I smoke I buy in 5pks or bundles, but I've bought multiple boxes of 3000's and 4000's. I've got a couple in the cooler right now, one box of 4000's completely ful, been sitting there since last Feb.

I've been going beadless for 2 years now, never had a problem. I often have to pull out multiple trays, or boxes, to find the cigar I want, again no problem. But, what ever works for you.

I bought 4 or 5 of these at walmart, but I've only had to take one out of the package, been going strong for 2 years now.

In my opinion, I don't think beads or other humidification devices are necessary when storing cigars in such a small place. I have a 48qt as well, and I just rely on the ambient humidity of the cigars themselves. I can go a month or 2 with the humidity only dropping a percentage point or two...

If you have a lot of singles, 5pks, or bundles (like I do), get yourself a few cedar trays. I've for 4 in my cooler. Cigars I buy by the box stay in their boxes.
