    Slope? What Slope?

It took me a year and some change to "level off" at...... 1 or 2 boxes a month...... but the kicker for me is that, I have for some reason ratcheted up in quality, whereas I used to go for bulk. So, I'm probably spending more money on better smokes, but it makes me feel better to find less...

    Clouds of smoke?

I love it, the more smoke the better. The SPDM's def. bellow smoke, along with most Pepin smokes due to their construction.

When was the last time you were WOWED...

The 601 Oscuro Tronco wowed me, and shortly thereafter the Cubao #4 did it to me also.

    Help me identify these DPG

Yeah man, I would see about keeping them. The black come as almonds to me, simple almonds, but the blues are unreal complex with a bit of age and a very low RH. But whatever blows your hair back I suppose.

    CBid head scratchers..

In my earlier days/addiction with CBID, I big higher than retail on the 5vegas A mega sampler, I just never bothered to check retail as I had done so many times before. Still, I feel didn't get screwed, but I certainly payed more than I had too. I barely use CBID anymore, as I have become more...

    CAO Brazilia Gol!

These are bad ass, they seem to a tighter drawing smoke though. They definitely benefit from dry boxing to help with that issue. Great review though. I don't get cedar out of these as much as black coffee, leather, and anise with a sweet finish.

    Partagas Black Maximo

The EO brands 601 Green Label Oscuro is really something, and def. one to put on the list for you to try. You will no doubt love it if you like the Partagas Black. Both of these will always have a home in my humi.

What NC is most like an ISOM stick?

In my limited experience with Monte' ISOMS, the Tatuaje Cabinet Noella really struck me as similar. They were not the same flavors or anything that close, BUT the smoke def. reminded me of the few I have had, and for me, thats worth it enough not to deal with legal issues. Besides, to me...

Third times the charm/ How long will you deal with a stick you are not enjoying?

I'll get to about half way and if it ain't doing it for me then, I'm comfortable knowing it probably won't further down either. The money was already spent, so if I am not enjoying it, then I don't worry about it.

    Rocky Patel Vintage 1990

Great review, I tried one of these a year or two back, and didn't find anything special about them. I will def. have to give these another shot, maybe in the form of these: http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=CS-K3A&cat=3 Supposedly, the only issues with these, are wrapper...

    601 Maduro Prominente

def. med. - full in flavor. I never got a big nicotine kick from these, just tons of delicious flavor.

Cigar Roller for wedding? Any info appreciated

The novelty of the fresh rolled thing doesn't seem worth 1000.00, the cigar bar is def. the way to go. Get some decent boxes and let everyone enjoy them. You'll save a fortune and smokers will love it either way.

My trip to Miami's "Little Havana"

Great pics, just walking around there down there with a smoke in hand, and cafe cubano only 5 steps away really is something. I loved it and cannot wait to go back.

    My lighting method...

I used to do this too, but got tired of filling my lighter all the time, which is probably a good enough excuse to pull the trigger on that Tatuaje Table lighter I have been eying. Either way, it is without a doubt the best way to light to keep harshness to a minimum. Then again, the toast...

    1st CI purchase....not pleased

They are reputable, and will fix the problem, all large companies miss something from time to time, nature of the beast IMO. I've had them credit my card back when I called and whined about cracked wrappers on the foot of some sticks that were shipped as a 5 pack. They will take care of you...
