    Montecristo Grande

This is a double corona Connecticut wrapped Dominican premium. It comes in a cedar lined aluminum tube. The first thing you would notice about this cigar is that it is firm and heavy, like a wood dowel. Perfectly smooth wrapper with no bumps or large veins. The smell is sweet and cedary. It cut...

    Of the Opus X

Wouldn't some of those 10% that didn't like them not bother to complain? That's probably a good 23.4% of them.

What NC is most like an ISOM stick?

I didn't want to draw any fire,:gn, but yesterday I was smoking a JLP and thought it has a similar cocoa taste to a Gurkha G3.:mn JLPs are really good for the price IMHO.

What NC is most like an ISOM stick?

I think it was a Flor de Oliva Corojo. I can't remember the CC it reminded me of.

    Rums over $30

I was told the bottle of rum cost US$8.00 in C.R.

What NC is most like an ISOM stick?

I like Pepin cigars, especially San Cristobols, I just think they are stronger flavored and more spicy than most Cuban cigars.

What NC is most like an ISOM stick?

I disagree about Pepins. Maybe one tastes like some CC to somebody. I have found that many different NCs reminded me of one or another CC, but I don't remember the specifics. I have even found a bundle cigar I thought would fool a smoker in a blind taste with a cuban cigar if the cap were cut...

    Rums over $30

This stuff is REALLY GOOD! I had a friend bring some back from Costa Rica and forgot the name of it. After searching around on the web I ended up here at CS! I should have looked here first.

What do you drink your whisk(e)y in?

I almost always drink my whiskey neat, too, but on a hot day while sitting outside smoking a stogie I might have it on the rocks with a splash of sour. It's refreshing that way.

    What was your first cigar?

"It's a Boy!" Who knows what the cigar was.

    You Choose...

I chose the Warped because it's a corona gorda. The Camacho is just a robusto. Your going to be playing darts not doing a review.

    aging? really?

I like cigars with that fresh taste. Your taste may vary. I just don't like them damp or they burn badly and taste wrong. When I get one fresh that I want to smoke soon then I roll it in my fingers and get a feel as to how dry it is and if I think it's too wet, but I want to smoke it anyway...

    aging? really?

Yeah, but the real question is: Ford, Dodge or GM?

    rocky patel vintage 1990

I just finished a corona and really loved it. Better than a Decade IMO. Great finish. I think I like the OWR better, but I haven't smoked one recently enough to compare. A bit mild but very flavorful is a good description.
