I'd like to add the 1968 robusto to your suggestion. While it's not a CC, it has that "tang". I'm gonna have to find the lancero, thanks for the tip.
AND BLUEFACE- That's a fantastic photo of Pepin. Thanks so much for posting it. It made my day! Question, is that what a Cuban Sandwich is?:D
From experience, I'd say get a couple of boxes of decent smokes and set them up somewhere so the guests can help themselves. They will quickly disappear as a lot of guests will do two things. The first is fire one up then leave it almost whole somewhere so when you see it you'll be a bit pissed...
Please tell me where this playground is. I've got a monkey on my back and he won't let go. (Or is that a gorilla?)
Prehaps a quote is in order:
"So long as the laws remain such as they are today, employ some discretion: loud opinion forces us to do so; but in privacy and silence let us...
Mr. Skibum,
I have read his original post and you are correct that there is no "direct evidence" that our friend sells CC's. There does, however, appear to be something implied here. Just my opinion, prehaps I am mistaken.
I was attempting to offer some friendly advice that it is a known fact...
So you are in the DC area and you've had no problem selling boxes of Cuban cigars for more than you paid for them?
I think linking to your name and address at your "Society" is going to make it pretty easy for Customs to come knocking on your door.
Maybe you need to brush up on CS policies...
It's a shame that there are no Cuban cigars in Gitmo. It's a crazy world.
My nephew is in Iraq. I can't send him pork or images of naked women!
That's insane, an Iraqi may be insulted if he eats a BLT while reading Playboy?
At least I can send him stogies.
Thank the Mrs. for her service!
I enjoy all the lines of Graycliff, but the Espresso and Double Espresso are my favorites. One of the best cigars I've ever smoked was an Espresso Shaggy.
Absolutely fabulous with strong coffee and chocolate flavors. Oh how I wish I had a box of those!:dr
Tobacco may not be a good fertilizer but it is an excellent "green" pesticide.
Some tobacco companies sell powdered tobacco to spread in the garden to eliminate bugs. A friend of mine with a big garden takes cigar butts and soaks them in a bucket until a nice brown soup is made. He then sprays...
Beautiful Pics!:dr
I had french toast, bacon, and budwieser at my wedding! (It was a brunch).
Your post brought back some fond memories for me. Thanks.
No, I haven't smoked one. I've bought a few boxes cheap from C-Bid but ended giving them away as gifts to people. The box is more impressive than the cigar from what I've heard. Top25Cigar ratings are worth a look. Many enjoyed them.
I love this cigar. I had gotten 2 fivers and then sprung for a bundle.
I go to grab one today and I see the Honduras gov't label. I couldn't believe it. The Columbian tobacco flavor is what I love. It reminds me of some of the Rico's cigars (Gran Habano). I gotta find out who really makes these...
Once I cut a cigar crooked and smoked it anyway then next thing I knew I woke with a girl who looked like Carlos Fuente, but with a bigger moustache.:ss
