I'd also suggest thinking about a remote exhaust fan rather than the traditional bathroom fan for ventilation. It might cost a bit more, but eliminating the fan noise in a small room like that will pay real dividends, and you definitely want negative pressure to keep smoke from escaping...

You put a moisture barrier between the concrete and the bottom plate 2x4s, right? You don't want the wood wicking moisture up out of the concrete.
