It might just be that the humidity in that area is 71%. If that is the case then I would make sure to dry the beads out and then they will work as well.

Personally I could care less if a cigar is hard. The only thing similar to that to me is if when I LIGHTLY squeeze it as long as it doesnt sound like a bunch of leaves from Autumn its fine with me. Shoot alot of gars if they arent "hard" there is something wrong (box press).
So after talking with Mtmouse I got an edgstar 28 bottle because at the time the were a little cheaper than the vinos. Of course they went on sale right after I bought it but I went forward and had him build me shelves and drawers for it. They arrived today and they fit PERFECT.

I had one of them last night and it wasnt too bad but it was the first cigar I have had in probably 2 years that I couldnt keep lit. Not sure if it was an individual problem or what but I am letting my other 4 rest for a while.
As far as humidification I used heartfelt beads while I was over there. As far as the cedar goes if you just get yourself some empty boxes those will work just as well. Thats what I did for the year I was over there.
