I feel ya. I started with a 20ct that I bought drunk in Cuba. Filled that on the trip bought a 150ct a month after I got home. Over filled that in few months so picked up a 500ct cabinet that is over half full. In fact I have about 100 sticks on the way!

My first "real" cigar and the one that got me interested was a Siglo 1. Prior to that I had smoked the odd primetime and a fake Cohiba.

I've ordered two humi's - a desktop and a cabinet - from Bargain Humidors and am very happy with the price paid and the shipping. In both cases the product arrived in under 8 business days which is pretty amazing. I'm use to 2 weeks minimum to get product to Canada.

I think this is an interesting topic. Personally I'm wound pretty tight and smoking a cigar offers me the oportunity to take an hour out of my day and kick back and relax. For me it's an enjoyable process that I look forward. A nice stick and a good aged rum is one of lifes pleasures.

Grea service to Canada, I've placed two orders. The first was lost due to an error on my part, they shipped the replacement before they had the first order back in hand! Second order came a few days later. Great online vendor.

Same policy at my house. I also make sure to buy the lady nice stuff to level things out.

Hate to bump old threads but I couldn't find any more info via a search... My questios is: If a box from the states is opened, what percentage of duties are applied? Let's say I buy $100 in smokes from the US - can anyone tell me from experience what the approximate duty fee would be?

Your right, they don't carry any of those brands although they do carry CAO. Notes. I'll include some in my order! The reason I've chosen JR as the source is they have a lot of 5 pack samplers which make sense as I look for cigars that I like. With that in mind, working from the following link...
