    Best Tequilas Under $30

If you shop around, you can find Tenoch Tequila (in the cool clay jug) for just a hair over 30. It is some of the smoothest tequila I have ever encountered. Amazing stuff! For a more expensive choice, I would go with the Aha Toro. Yummy!

Cutting or punching cigars..what do you prefer?

I used to cut all the time, just because I was too cheap to look at other options. Then I went for the punch and really liked it. Lately though I have really enjoyed the V-cut. If I need more flow, I just grab the straight cutter and trim as needed. V-cut all the way....until I change my...

Had to Say Goodbye to Kids Today

Last night was spent tossing and turning, staring at the walls of the house. And as stupid as it sounds, I tried to get the cockatiel and parakeet pissed at me, just so they would make noise. Stubborn birds would not cooperate. With the girls here, they always make noise. I suppose they are...

Had to Say Goodbye to Kids Today

This really isn't a request for thoughts, or prayers. I just need somewhere to vent. I really didn't know where else to put it, so...Here it is. Today, after 5 years of marriage, my wife left with our 3 and 6 year old daughters. It has been something we knew was inevitable, but the true shock...

    Any v-cut fans out there?

About three months ago, I started using the V-cut and have never looked back. It is my preferred cut now. Jim

    Carlos Toraño-Virtuoso

I am not sure I have ever had one, or even knew they existed. Something else to look for when my inheritance comes in. Now if I could just find someone that will put me in their will. Jim

    Not enjoying cigars?

I generally hold the smoke in my mouth for quite some time. Well, truthfully, I like trying to make smoke rings (not always the best, but I try). I finally blow the existing smoke out after I feel like I am going to turn blue from not breathing. As far as how I draw...I generally take very...

    Bock y Ca. Cigars

Over the past two months, I have introduced several of my co-workers into the world of cigar smoking. In each case, knowing that the Bock y Ca are mild, I decided they would be a great starter. With each smoke, I decided to enjoy one as well. These have actually turned out to be one of my...

    Esencia Cigar *NEW*

I am assuming this is the same "BlindReview" that I took part in back in June. I was unable to make the conference call, as I was in the middle of a nine day trek through the Humboldt Redwoods. I have not been able to get in contact with the originator, so I will post the review here, in the...

    Opinions on Puros Indios?

For the price, these sticks make good yard gars. If they were any more than that, I would not buy them. I take them for what they are...inexpensive cigars. Not dog rockets, yet not great. Jim

    Carlos Toraño-Virtuoso

I actually thought the Gold was lacking in comparison to the Silver. As for the Virtuoso. . . . . . .:dr:dr:dr:dr:dr:dr:dr

    I shoved my wife

Once the wives start smoking, it starts getting really expensive. I have tried to ween her off of the flavored :BS. To a certain degree she is coming around. I just hate the smell of over powering vanilla while I am enjoying pure tobacco. With her moving out Thursday, I suppose I will not have...

What's the worst cigar you have ever had?

Anything that is made by Victor Sinclair. God, I want to meet him, just so I can kick him in the nuts for making that :BS
