    Haier Wine Cooler

This thread inspired me to build my own at the beginning of the summer. I'm pretty proud of how it turned out, and I kept meaning to post pics, but always forgetting. So here they finally are. I hardwired in the Johnson Controls controller and mounted the unit on the back for easy changing...

    Homemade bead tubes?

I did some serious searching too. Not because I think Heartfelt and the others are overpriced, but just because DYI is in my blood. And because I'm too stubborn to believe that the people behind these sites could figure it out and I can't. However I don't believe you'll find an answer here...

    Homemade bead tubes?

Wouldn't that be WWMD? You must be smoking an extra extra fuerte for sure! (Either that or you're scared to mention WMD in America. And I can't blame you for that!)

habana cigar club - edgewater, nj

Never been in there, but I drive that route every day on the way to work. I'd be interested to hear what others have to say on this too.

It seems like CI can't get rid of 5 Vegas Classics/Gold

This might be somewhat location dependent, because my sticks from CI usually ship same day and arrive in two business days. Granted, I'm in Jersey, which isn't far from the warehouse in PA, but according to the site the budget shipping should arrive in 2-7 business days. I agree with you, two...

How long can oils survive at 55%-60%rh?

What if I'm using Fully Synthetic RH? Does that make a difference? And should I recycle my RH when I'm done or just dump it down the storm drain?

What cigar case do you use?

I have a variation of this, and I gotta say, I'm a big fan. I think you could run over it with a small truck and still not crush the cigars, and for anyone leading an "active" lifestyle (or just somewhat clumsy like me) it works better than a leather case, plus I believe it hold the humidity...

How long can oils survive at 55%-60%rh?

They don't feel too hard, and the wrappers that are not cello covered still feel oily to the touch. Unfortunately I don't have a lot of experience with being able to tell how dry/wet a stick is by feel yet, so I appreciate the info. RG sent.

    New Cigar smoker + $50-75 = ???

They're stable enough to use on their own, however their stability isn't necessarily going to be the problem. I think getting a digital hygro is worth the peace of mind, because if you're like me, you'll probably have a tendency to overhydrate the beads until you get adjusted to the amount...

How long can oils survive at 55%-60%rh?

Sorry, bro, heard that one before. Besides, I'm a newbie, so if they taste like a grocery bag I won't know the difference, right? :ss

How long can oils survive at 55%-60%rh?

I'm not sure if this has been covered before, and if it has, I apologize. I've done searches on rh being too low, and see cigars that had been left out for months and lost their oils, however I don't see anything about cigars left slightly low. I've been working on the wine-ador, however I...

    What Country Rules...

I can't say for sure, but I'd have to guess that Honduran produced sticks are the majority in my wine-ador. Why not support the economy of the poorest country in Central America? If Haiti or Bangladesh had a good cigar scene I'd probably switch to them. And if you believe that I'm enough of...

    Here's my new starter humi

I received that exact same humi for Christmas (Cuban Crafters, no?). How's your seal? I couldn't seem to get mine seasoned, so I did the light test and found that the left side has a bad seal. It was a gift, so even as cheap as these desktops are, I really don't want to buy another one to...

    Cbid made me do it!

Yeah, I'm another guilty party. Tonight's "winnings" (or a $131+shipping total loss, depending on how you look at it.) Vibe Corojo by Rocky Patel Corona (5 cigars) at $7.00 Slow-Aged by Perdomo Glorioso (20 cigars) at $25.00 Puros Indios 'Special-Aged' Piramides Maduro (6 cigars) at...

    Cbid's design is outdated

Am I the only one who's a little disappointed when I log on and find that I actually won the crap that I bid on? The problem is, I only expect to win about 50% of the bids, and I bid on several to save on shipping. Then if they all pull through, I'm screwed. Now I see why they call it the...
