I take mine off too... Just think there is more airflow to them without the celo. and one would think that would allow the smoke to absorb more cedar flavor.:2 Pip

I salt tested my Caliber III and after 24 hours it was dead nuts on 75%.:tu So, I took my beads out and put the hygro in with the beads and put the tupperware cover on them and after about 30 minutes the hygro was up to 80%! My beads are WAY to wet! Need to dry them out. Gonna do some...
