When you think about it, if it doesn't say they are shade grown wrappers, then they are probably sun grown.

Not all Connecticut shade wrapped cigars are mild, although I do admit that cigar blenders tend to pair Connecticut shade wrappers with milder blends more often than not. The JdN Series C is not a mild cigar, so it should indeed be interesting when you smoke one. :)

Yeah, I knew about the Villazon buy out, but I don't believe Partagas & Macanudo ever had anything to do with Villazon (General owned the 2 labels long before they bought out Villazon). It's the El Credito/LGC buy out that I was surprised by.

Yeah, I think they took the same Antano blend & just put a CTS wrapper on it. It smooths out the flavor profile, but the cigar still has quite a kick. In fact, the damn thing is downright sneaky. I've smoked a handful of the toro size.
