I wiped mine down with warm water only, no real strong plastic smell. I also added SP Cedar shelves to give it a nice humidor smell. It works great. I move my cigars out of the cooler to a humidor for a day or 2 before I smoke them and they smoke great.

Work of Art Maduro are great! And if you can find them with some age even better.

I know in Ca. cigarettes have a tax stamp on each pack and the FTB has always been hot on finding un-stamped packages. But cigars don't have a tax stamp so it appeared to me that cigars did not fall under the same tax law. This is just my opinion and not to be confused with actual knowledge
