    Exhaust Fans

I had to have a specialist make the final ducting exhaust piece to get over and out to the side of the house since I was squeezing the ducting between some wood beams. To create the hole in the side of the house I used a sawzall. I have photos of this posted on...

PROJECT: Cigar Band Poker Table (warning: many pictures)

You can put the epoxy coats down as thin as you would like. I picked up the epoxy at Ace Hardware. I'm sure most local hardware stores would have it or could at least special order it for you. In regards to sanding I would not recommend that. I think I recall doing that for the cup holders...

    Cabinet Humi suggestions

Do you have any recommendations on where the fans are positioned? What kind of fans of these?

    Cabinet Humi suggestions

Do you think a cab like that can run off of beads (assuming I use a lot)? I was looking at that electronic Oasis unit because I was skepital of a setup with beads.

    Cabinet Humi suggestions

I've been thinking about getting a cabinet humidor and thought it be best to ask for everyone's advice first. I was considering something like http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=M-HUM2000&cat=10 with http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=M-COH3000&cat=10...

    Opus X!?!?

Some love 'em, some don't. I'm personally a fan. I like the strength if i'm in the mood and think they have good flavor. Then again I like most Fuentes (big fan of the 858's and Short Stories).

    Exhaust Fans

Rudder and I have a similiar setup. We are getting the make up air from outside. We have ducting running from the outside of the house to the room (not a forced air setup, the exhaust fan pulls the air as needed). Assuming you live in climates that have extreme hot/cold weather you'll need a...

    Exhaust Fans

What size room are you suggesting 2700 CFM for? My cigar room is 8x12 and my 1200 CFM fan is more than plenty. We have three people smoking in there often and I usually still never have the variable speed controller for the fan set to more than 1/2 or 3/4 strength. If someone were to use 2700...

    Exhaust Fans

As government keeps passing more and more smoking ban laws, these rooms are looking brilliant!

    Started the smoking room.

The room is looking great so far! I'm excited to see the room take shape. Mark and I were having a smoke in our cigar room tonight and were talking about how cool it is to see others doing similar types of projects. It's totally worth it when you get to the end result. It looks like you have...

PROJECT: Cigar Band Poker Table (warning: many pictures)

We used 2 gallons of epoxy. That was the most expensive part of the table by far. It costs around $120 and that was with a pretty good bulk discount.

PROJECT: Cigar Band Poker Table (warning: many pictures)

I wanted to give a huge thanks to the guys that donated cigar bands to Mark and I for the project. We used between 400 and 500 bands for the table and it wouldn't have been possible to have that many and that much diversity in bands without your help!!

    Cigar Room

The unit I have is the EM-WX0515R from Electro Industries. It's a 5,000 watt unit. The higher the wattage, the more powerful the heater, the more capable it is of keeping your air at the desired temps for higher CFM pulls. It's been an absolutely essential element of my setup. Its pretty cold...
