    The Best Way to Humidify?

I have to agree with the bad hygrometer camp. Having a good hygrometer that you can depend on the reading is a necessity. I also use the 65% beads from Heartfelt and they hold somewhere between 63-67% in 8 different coolerdors/tupperdors. I used the amount of beads recommended on their web...

Looking to get a good cutter - recommendations anyone :)

I also had a couple of xikars before I bought a palio, and one of the xikars had the internal spring break. It was a silver one with the composite body. I sent it back to xikar with a note saying I wish I had bought one with the metal frame because hopefully it would be stronger than the one I...

Are You a Fan of Graycliff Cigars?

My own opinion, for what it is worth: Incredibly overpriced for the quality.........Make a crappy cigar, call it limited and price it in the stratosphere and make a lot of money.....Again just my opinion, but there are much better cigars for a 1/4 of the price.

Looking to get a good cutter - recommendations anyone :)

Pailo, can't go wrong.....clean cut EVERY time. Had mine almost a year and I smoke on average 2-3 cigars a day - and it cuts as good as the day I bought it.

Please help out a cigar newbie.

Welcome to CS and glad you have your humidity stabilized. I also belong to the "beads are best crowd" If you have any further problems, I would sincerely recommend getting some 65% beads form Heartfelt. They also sell the hygrometer calibration bags. This method is by far the best I have...

    Funny Taste in my Cigars

I have experienced it but it has been rare for me. For me the test is if the same cigar from the same box/fiver does it again than it's the stick.....more times than not it has been my own taste buds, which I chalk up to something I ate/drank or maybe some meds I may be on. Just my :2

What's your favourite part of a cigar to smoke?

Depends on the stick, but generally speaking the last 1/3 to the nub.

Has anybody been to Racine & Laramie of Old Town in San Diego

The day will come that I'll vote for a Democrat before I would pay $50.00 for a single cigar....ANY CIGAR.

    Price & Flavor Question...

My position after years of smoking. If it taste like s..t, no matter what the cost then I'm canning it. I ended up with a lot of cigars early in my career that never was smoked because they were purchased under the premise "this is a pretty good stick for the price", And then they just take...

    [need advice] social smoking?

Accept it and throw it away when you get home. Say: Thanks for the stick, but I really had my heart set on smoking ________this today.

I'm done with Rocky Patel Blends

I have enjoyed a lot of RPs, but the R4 Maduro, was probably the one I liked the least.

    Sweetest Cameroons

The CAO Anniversary is the best representation of the wrapper, IMHO.

La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero Chisel

Thanks for the review.....they are VERY STRONG cigars, but also very flavorful. I like the DL Chisel Maduro even better.
