I always hit Alois Dallmayr when I am in town. It's a nice store/coffee shop/delicatessen. It in a sense is an institution in Munich. I have several friends in Munich, and they all wanted to take me there as part of my sightseeing with them. It's a neat place. And, it has, it's own tabacco...

They had a fun event with Camacho cigars last Friday. They have a Gurkha event in November, and a burbon/cigar event in November. It's really nice with their new lounge setup. And, they always have some nice door prizes.

I wasn't impressed by it. Not a bad smoke, but not one I'd go out of my way to purchase. But, I'm not a bit Cameroon fan to start.

They are a great under $5 stick. I always have a few in my humi. Probably one of my favorite bang for the buck sticks.

I normally give them away to someone. Throwing them away is just a waste. someone will want them. (Sending them to the troops, as mentioned before is a great idea. I know when I was in the field, we would smoke whatever cheap crap we got mailed to us... and we liked it!)

That's actually fairly common. Many Cigar Bars I have been to have that rule.

The IMOs the US Post Office sells are only good in a few third-world countries. So, pretty useless these days...

It's OK. But, it banks a lot on the Cohiba name. You can get better smokes for less $$$. Now, the Siglo II is one of my faves too... but don't expect the same from the NC Cohibas. Not even close!

OK. How does one put together a successful tupperdore? I'd like to have something a bit larger than my normal humidor to put some boxes in and keep them humidified.

Depends. Actual MSRP on Opux X products isn't terrible. But, the issue being that finding them is heck, and lots of places know it... so they charge more. The last time I managed to lay my hand on some Opus X cigars (from an authorized dealer... which you can look up at their site... I paid...

I agree on the Lot 23.

I have a Monte Edmundo and a Monte No. 2. Both are great.
