Wow...someone needs to add their thoughts to the "What are you drinking" thread.
Back to the original topic that this post was created for:
Yes, my father-n-law and he's a pastor. After learning he had enjoyed cigars back in the day and showing some curiosity with my humidor - my wife & me...
I sat in my truck once and smoked a Cohiba - took a couple of days with the addition of multiple sprays of Febreeze on the headliner and carpet (seats are leather) to rid the smell - I love the smell of a burning cigar but not the aftermath at 7am when I'm driving 45 minutes to work.
Nice review - feel the same about the smaller RG - has to be at least a 50-52 to interest me. This is one I have also been eyeballing but have picked others lately instead (Illusione, Kristoff and a couple La Flor's to try).
Next weekend, I'm trying one of these for these thanks to your review.
Nice review -
One of the Fuente's I haven't tried and keep saying I need to when I visit a B&M but go with something else I have never tried - really need to enjoy one of these.
Cuesta Rey Cabinet Selection
Chateau Real
Sol Cubano Cuban Cabinet (Shocked me how similar it is but cheaper and just as enjoyable with even less bite)
...These might be some other options for you and easily available online in 5-pack varities.
I either have an idea as to wanting something mild-medium or full-out "bold" and grab one out that I can't remember smoking in some time - another option is to read the ongoing thread "What are you smoking right now" and see some of the last posts and match that with one I have as an idea.
Thanks Rob for clarifying the name - I started it with the title and just kept calling it all the way thru the review - as if the band would not remind me in each picture.

Thanks for the honest review. I like some Gurkha's and hate others - the regent line is one that I try to stay away from as well - have (4) Class regent toro's sitting aside in a smaller humi and will "attempt" to burn them in the cooler days of fall.
Agreed - it's a great newb cigar for someone that is still developing their palette but it can also be an enjoyable cigar for those who have smoked for some time. Something else to consider outside the standard & reserve label would be the Connoisseur line (medium bodied), Reserve (medium-full)...
It's what I did back when I wanted time to shop but please understand that alot of people are dropping in for a special occasion (wedding, birthday, job promotion, divorce-HA!) and have no clue as to what they are looking at and need alot of advice to get them pointed in the right direction...
