I would think that as long as you smoked it contiuously, like you describe in the opening thread, assuming that you didn't chew the hell out of the nub while you were smoking, that it would be just fine to finish it up in a pipe. Saving them for later, though, well, that's just nasty.

Wireless internet and a laptop in the smoking lounge would fix this problem. Can't do it here, but back home this is no problem. But then again, it's best to research before purchase/smoking than to spend a lot of time smoking substandard (for your own tastes) sticks, IMO.
