It's a very nice cigar. A bit of the Pepin spice but I find this to be very creamy and smooth. The complex flavors are definitely there to make it an enjoyable smoke after a big meal but it's not smack you around strong like some of the Pepin sticks so you can also have these earlier in the...
If you are that close it would probably be worth the investment. I'm all the way down in Dalton, GA (about 30 mins away) and I still find it to be worth my money.
Also, you get 20% off box purchases with your membership. For me that's almost worth the price alone.
I am a member of The Havana Room at the Chattanooga Billiard Club. Although I don't keep many sticks in my locker (I prefer to bring them with me) I do keep some in there for friends who tag along.
I don't look at it as paying for the locker as much as paying for the right to be in the private...
I agree with those who say it's a bit paranoid.
I always keep many boxes of cigars on hand, have for 10+ years, and have never had a problem.
I've left cigars in my sunroom all summer in 90-100 degree weather and not had an issue. I've left cigars in my garage boxed up for 4+ years and not...
If these were traditional sizes they would be fantastic cigars. However, since they are so short once you tip the ash the first time get ready for a harsh burn across your tongue. The thing is a real tease. Once you really start enjoying it it's too hot and too near your tongue to enjoy. You...
I believe consistency is a big problem with 5 Vegas Miamis. I've gone through about four boxes of them and each stick is hit or miss. Some are flawless while others have large veins that almost crack the wrapper and have messy caps. Some have that nice Pepin spice and others are fairly bland...
You can find great deals you just have to be patient. Let those people pay more than MSRP because that allows the rest of us to get good deals. CI would close the site tomorrow if those people went away and only the bargain hunters chose to bid.
I acquired a box of Tobacos Baez last week for...
I'm not down there as much as I used to be. I was a student at GSU several years ago. But yeah Ye Olde and what used to be the Tinder Box, Savannah Bulldogs now I believe.
I got a box in today. These have a very nice creamy flavor similar to the regular Cabaiguans. A bit of spice at first and then it turns into a mellow medium bodied stick. These are also very similar to the new La Aroma de Cubas also made by Pepin.
Just to chime in..
My favorite corona gorda is the Cabaiguan Guapos 46. Too bad these are limited edition. For my money they beat the Tat Blacks by a mile.
If you just want straight news and good reviews of the latest products you can't beat Cigar Insider. Yes it's expensive but far better than the others IMO. :2
I got 4 fivers from CBid for $25 each. So 20 sticks for $100 plus shipping.
I will say this, these are fairly harsh right off the truck. I don't want to suggest that they were rushed to the market but they are going to need a little time in the humi. I'm not one to let cigars age but these...
