    Mailing Cigar question

There's about an 80% tax on cigars up here in Canada. So any package coming into the country labeled cigars means the person on the receiving end has to fork out some cash. I had someone send me 10 sticks a few years back, labels 10 cigars Value $50 and I had to pay $80 to get the package. And...

    Heartfelt Beads - I'm a believer

I love my beads, they keep my humi rock solid @65% for weeks on end even in the cold dry winters up here.

Do you smoke more or less in winter? Or keep it same?

Less. I don't smoke in the house so I usually switch to smaller cigars like the Rocky Patel juniors. Tastey but small enough to finish before my fingers go numb

    B&M's near Niagara Falls

Another recommendation for Smokin Joe's on the US side. I don't know about the B&Ms in your area but it has a HUGE selection compared to any this side of the border, minus the Cubans of course. And for us Canucks prices are 50-70% less than on our side of the border. As for the Canadian side...

First try at a review - Rocky Patel Sun Grown

Thanks for the review. I've gone through 3 or 4 of the little 5 packs of Sungrown Juniors and enjoy them. I have a larger one resting in the humi from a few trips back to the B&M. It'll be interesting to see how it compares to it's smaller cousins.

    Cusano 18 Robusto

I find the nats have grown on me after doing a 3way box split, So much so I'll probably split another box with a friend at work before the summers over or just grab a whole one to let some sit for a while lol. I'll have to see about the C10s next time I'm out shopping, They sound interesting.

    Carlos Torano Virtuoso

I've got one of these resting in the humi, I might just have to fire it up soon to see what the fuss is all about :).

    small cigars???

The Juniors and the 1990's are tasty, I've even hooked a co-worker on them lol. Next time I'm shopping I hope to try the 1992's.

    RP The Edge

Nice review. I grabbed one a few weeks ago and it's been resting in the humidor awaiting a nice day to fire it up. So far I've only had the Sungrown and vintage juniors but I'm looking forward to try more of Rocky's cigars.

    Cuban advice

Cuban price Vs. Cdn price in local B&M is a HUGE difference . The PSD4 that goes for 18.15 in Cuba for a 3pk , sells for $22+ for a single at most B&Ms out this end of the country.

    Cuban advice

In case you don't know, your allowed 50 cigars per person of legal smoking age. So you could end up with a nice haul. 2 boxes at Cuban prices :dr . What I always do (you've covered the where to buy part) is supply a list and tell the person to start at the top and work there way down. I list...

Used my new palio for the first time tonight

I've had mine for a week now and everytime I clip a cigar I'm happy I finally took the plunge and bought one. I too almost bought a Xikar but it was the fact I was use to a guillotine cutter that swayed me to the palio.
