I run into this all of the time in the Summer. When it get's to be 80% humidity outside the cooler, it's hard to keep 65% inside using just beads (and I have a lot!). I use a product called Damp Rid. Available in my local True Value, quite cheap and I just put a small glass of the crystals in...

I received the same sampler. Tried one so far. Not bad, not the best stick I've tried by a long shot tho. Probably will not be buying any more unless the price is fairly low. YMMV.

This is just my :2, but I would take a Serie V any day of the week over an Illusione. I have tried the F9 and CG4, just not my thing.

Great thread. The only two Peppin's that I own boxes of (so far) is the blue & miami (both robusto). One thing I WILL be buying by the box is the Tat red label Angeles. Boy is that a nice cigar!

I have been looking for a while for this and finally found one bottle of the old in a local store. Paid about 38 with taxes, but not too bad. Very nice, tried it last night. I'll be very interested in picking up a bottle of the new blend when it's out to compare!

Sad really. I had a Z-Plus insert that worked flawlessly for 3+ years. Then just stopped working. I decided to spend a little more and get an Xicar Plunge lighter. Brand new out of the box it only lights if the flame adjustment is at half or less. Anything more and the flame blows itself...

I have a small coolador with 65% Heartfelt beads. In the Winter, my digital meter shows 65%, so I know it's pretty accurate. However, this past week the ambiant humidity has been about 85% and I'm lucky if the humidor reads 72%. It just can't keep up with the huge outside number.

For all of you fan's of the higher end rum, how do you enjoy it? Do you sip it neat like a single malt or add a little ice?
