    B&M Kickback

    Flavored Cigars?

i always find it incredibly ironic when someone says "i don't like flavored this or tainted that, i'm a purist", yet they can walk up to a bar and say "can i get a strawberry daiquiri? " or you get other people that drink flavor water (i can go on all day about that one). truth is, different...

    Definitions of 'puros' and 'vitola'?

It is actually a little complex. Puro is Spanish for pure, but in many places it is used to mean cigar. This probably originated from Cuban cigars saying they were "Puros Habanos" and the term stuck. So when the term puro is used in the cigar industry, by an English speaking person, they...

    Oliveros El Padrino

is not a great cigar. but is a good one. just by appearance you'll think it is a powerhouse. but in reality is more in the medium, medium to full range. is flavorful and has some of the common characteristics of a maduro, meaty, hints of leather yada yada yada.

Review on new Zippo Blue Lighter

I've found them to be very inconsistent and seem to plug after a couple of months using them. And like I said, I've owned a good # of them and this has happened with all but about 1. That's a pretty bad ration against them.

    Real Rum Drinkers

i grew up sitting on a corner with a bunch of friends "sipping" rum. except that our stuff used to be home made most of the time, stuff people would call names like "chispa 'e tren", "azuquin" and "cananbuco". not the finest, and most refined of rums, it was the type of stuff that burns down the...

    Pepin Garcia?

i think all of his cigars have an extremely simmilar profile and while i found them interestin at first, they are starting to bore me. not to mention lots of inconsistancy as of late. they are not bad, but i think some people just go overboard sometimes.

Affordable "cubanesque" cigar for an American?

it's just been not to good. a black label tasted like amonia. a brown one was just bland. a couple of plugged padillas. a white label that was a bit green. the best one i had was one of the havana VI tatuaje which cost me less than all of the other ones.
