    Pre-Castro 1958

I haven't tried them yet. When I got them the seal was already cut. I guess it doesn't really matter as long as they are good. It would be pretty cool if they were authentic though.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm too busy at the moment to post a pic so that will have to wait until tommorrow. The cigars do not look old, but they say "serie 1958". Alright, I'm off to get hitched, ugh! haha.

    Pre-Castro 1958

So, I'm getting married today and my soon to be Father in law gave me a box of 10 cigars. The box says "Pre-Castro Cubans". The seal is Dominican and the band says "Pre-Castro Cubans 1958" It also says dominican republic. So, Does anyone know what these are. He seems to think they are...

    My Choices

The first cigar I tried was the Curly Head. I really liked it and have since had more. You probably won't find a lot of fans here though. As far as the others, I haven't tried any. The Curly Head is a good one for new smokers.

    The Godfather

I agree. There is so much going on in The Godfather but it can be tough to follow when you first see it. I have actually read the book and that just made the movie so much better. I recommend watching the first one again and then watch part 2. Freakin awesome. Best one two punch of all time...

    How to avoid cigar marriage?

When the preacher asks "Does anyone object to this union?" thats your cue. Jump up and make a big scene. That should prevent any marriage.

    5 Vegas Torp

I was gifted some 5 Vegas smokes from Marathon a while back and I finally got around to trying one. I grabed the red label torpedo while I was grilling on my back deck. I really liked this smoke, it had a large ring guage and the flavors were rich and complex. I had minimal burn problems and...

Hey Mike, sorry to hear your kid is having a little difficulty there. The money for his advancement is a good investment though. and... It gives you an excuse to buy a bunch of those Cremosa's I know you love so much. I hear they're real cheap on CBid ;)...

    What a weekend!

Here are the sticks that Marathon sent me. I can't wait to smoke them this weekend. BTW, I ordered some beads from Heartfelt on Monday so I can get my Humi up and running. Right now I'm working with a tupperdor using a Boveda humipak (65%). It works very good but not as perty as the Humi...
