If you have even an inkling about your staff, and you do work that is sensitive in nature especially in defense, I don't see any alternative but to terminate the relationship. What's a couple of smokes if you have sensitive information elsewhere in your place?

Well, you're right Peter, it wouldn't matter on their rehumidification. But I also wouldn't waste time and effort trying to revive fakes that may never have been worth much in the flavor department anyways.

I freeze and use a vinotemp. Freezing your smokes may be your best first step. That way you won't have to worry as much about higher temps.

Another idea is to lay a wet rag over the top of the outside of the cooler. The evaporation should lower the temperature a couple degrees. Although there may not be much evaporation going on with 75% humidity.

9qts? If it is fairly airtight (I assume it is since you are using it as a humi), then just put it in the fridge. That won't take up much more space than a twelve pack of beer right?

I thought you might be starting a CS refrigerator magnet thread. That would be awesome! Since you aren't, you should be able to find more than you would need at a hardware store or pretty much any big box store.

Only thing that could make that better would be some fresh, real mozzarella.

Smoke Cubans. Seriously. I find that what finish I have left is not only delicious, but usually is completely gone in a couple hours to the point where I could not taste that I have smoked a cigar. Luckily my sweety doesn't mind, she just says "you smell like cigars".

My Firebird is two years old and still going strong. Rarely does it even fail to light on the first spark. Only use Vector in it, but everyone uses good fuel, so I just got lucky apparently.

Buy more cigars, and it won't be a problem. Color me "spoiled" on a lot of smokes. There are marcas and vitolas I like fresh (party shorts come to mind, though I have never tasted an aged one knock on wood), RASCCs, and those that are everyday smokers. Otherwise I try to buy aged.
