Had a premium cigar the other day and the ash was very dark, like 80% very dark grey/black. The taste was fine. The cigar had around 7 years of age. It was the darkest ash I've seen. Is this a sign the smoke is lower level construction?

Had a Belicoso today and the first half was burning great. Then I ashed it and the draw became really tight. Wondering if anyone else experienced this? I stored them at 65% RH tops.
