    Tatuaje Draw Question

Never had a Tatuaje Havana VI with a decent draw - all have been impossibly tight.

Smoking Nazi's about to get a taste...

There's a difference between that, and "we need a government that controls our lives because we aren't smart enough on our own". I don't need Big Brother giving me a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt or eating trans-fats and telling me "it's for your own good."

    Jungle Elder Status???

If Pepins, Tatuajes, and PAMs were in the $4-$7 range (competitive with my favorite Cubans), I'd be far more inclined to smoke more NCs. It annoys me when people get pissy about smokers who lean towards Cubans, thinking they're snobs. I believe the Fader's in Towson has a box. Should be $225...

    What would you choose?

Why the hell not? I'd be looking forward to such an occasion for that reason alone.

    Ratings inflation! Biggest disparity?

The way I see it, a new cigar is always worth a try. Whether it's to see how your opinion stacks up against CA's rating, a guy on CS, or it's a cigar you've never seen before, it's always worth a shot (providing it isn't outrageously overpriced or doesn't have a chance of suiting your taste).

    Chewing Your Cigar

Very rarely. Sometimes if I'm walking the dog and forget about it, working (I'm a landscaper), or am preoccupied.

    Opus and Anejo help

No problem here. Might want to look into using a safer browser such as Firefox, as opposed to IE.

    Does the box matter?

While I'm definitely more interested in the cigars, I'm a sucker for packaging. I love clean boxes and sharp bands. When a cigar (even if it's a tasty cigar) has a cheap looking band on it, it's less appealing to me to smoke again.

Vinotemp users: Your stogies may not be safe from impending beetle infestations!

A good thought indeed. Maybe it's about time we got ourselves a resident anthropologist, haha.

Vinotemp users: Your stogies may not be safe from impending beetle infestations!

Wait, what? I know they aren't supposed to hatch at those temperatures, that's why I posted a thread concerning potential thermal fluctuations in Vinotemps. I'd agree with you on the "hatching in transit" theory, had the cigar not been in the Vinotemp for roughly 6 months.

Vinotemp users: Your stogies may not be safe from impending beetle infestations!

Sucks, but it seems to be true. I keep my Vinotemp at 57*-60*F, according to both its own thermometer, and a hygrometer/thermometer combo, and I just discovered a stick with a beetle hole in it. Luckily, the little bastard was huddled up dead in the corner of the box. Though the stogies from...

How to prepare an open box for shipping

I use about 50 billion layers of plastic wrap when I ship boxes like that. I usually put a thin piece of bubble wrap inside the box to make sure everything is completely secure. Looks goofy, but I have yet to have a package arrive in less than perfect condition :)

Poll- How Many Cigars Do You Have?

Haven't really been buying cigars the last 4 or 5 months, so I suppose I'm at around 80. I'll be stocking up again soon, though :).
