Just as important as what cigars to buy is making sure they are stored correctly. So two tips:
1. Buy from a reputable cigar shop (like Habana House) and skip the gas stations (for the most part). A reputable cigar shop will make sure the cigars have always been stored at optimal conditions...
Let's be honest, the embargo has nothing to do with human rights issues and everything to do with the expropriations of US interests by the Castro Reigme.
If you're looking for a one day thing you could drive to Toledo Ohio and goto the COSI museum: http://www.cositoledo.org/visit/v_index.htm
Great place for kids!

If you like full bodied cigars (which it looks like you do), I'd give the Davidoff Millenium Blend Robusto a try. They're around $15 MSRP but worth it for special occasions.
They come highly recommended by every cigar board I have ever been on. I've never even read one moderate review, let alone a negative one. I wouldn't hesitate for a second giving them my business.

Awesome job... definitely inspires me to put in the extra effort, seeing as how I have the tendency to leave projects half finished. So is the table going into yor bros cigar room?

Got mine today... also the carbon fiber. Very nice looking cutter. I'm going to give it a try tonight. Thanks for all of the hard work putting this together, guys!
