Sometimes you just get a plugged cigar. When I was smoking a lot of maduros this was one of my go-tos. I have a had a few that were plugged or didn't smoke right but overall I enjoyed them. It could be a storage problem at the store or just a fluke. I would try again if you really like maduros...

I should have added Oliva in there as well. The fact is they aren't being produced by either of them anymore. Besides those few lines his cigars are mediocre and overpriced.

The funny thing to me is the whole "I am outraged and will never buy from them again" attitudes. When it comes down to it, Holt's is right. They may have been a bit crude in the way they put it but that doesn't make it any less true. I also have one word (or is is two?) for Padilla. Buh-bye...

So, you have to apologize for telling the truth now? Like it has been said earlier, the only thing Padilla had going for his line of cigars was having Pepin and Oliva manufacturing a few of them. Now that they are not the same cigars, and sub par, what motivation is there to buy his cigars...

This is what it comes down to. I drink most bourbon/scotch whisky straight up but every once in a while I like a bourbon and coke. When I do use a soda mixer, it is usually whatever I feel like drinking that night. Be that Jack Daniels, Makers, Crown, Blanton's or 21 year old Hirsch.

There are good and bad of both. 50/50. I feel that people that only smoke CC or only smoke NC are missing out.

I got about 5 minutes in and turned it off. I am not a big musical fan. I will probably try to get through it someday though since I do like Depp and Burton.

I like aged Tequila so I voted for the Don Julio. The Patron Silver is decent I guess. My favorite is the Patron Anejo, but it wasn't listed.:tu

Is it overpriced if it tastes much better than most other cigars in it's price range?

I have smoked 4 from the NOV 06 Coronas Extra box I got from Cigar Monster and haven't had any wrapper issues. Hopefully your wrapper problem is an isolated issue for you. This smoke is quickly becoming my favorite when I want something a little less potent than what I usually smoke but still...

They should just destroy them. Who knows what might be in them? I wouldn't give them to an enemy much less our brothers overseas.
