I second that! As a frequent traveler to the Keys, I got to say that his shop is very cozy and inviting, and is run by the nicest people!

Has anyone Tried - New Cab ?

With active humidification you shouldn't have a problem in seasoning the humidor. I let my run for 2 days, loaded it with sticks, and the active humidifier took care of the rest, perfect 67% all the time. With passive humidification, it takes a little more time. I think that wiping or brushing...

For those who surf CS at work...

Let's keep this civil people. My opinion is that as long as it doesn't cut into production, or is done in down time, a little surfing doesn't hurt. We are not machines, we are humans. It becomes a problem when people abuse it.

Question? Do you hook up your local B&M every now and than?

I occasionally pass an unbanded Cuban as a "special" cigar to my two favorite store clerks. No need to know what it is. "It's special and just smoke it damn it!!!" :D

    NEW Cabinet with PICS!

Very nice Erick! Congratulations! Is that a separate compartment at the bottom? It looks like it was made to store wine down there. How is that top shelf holding humidity?

Where in Miami, to shop on Sunday

There are plenty of shops/factories in the area I just don't know if they open sundays. My best suggestion is to google and call the shop before getting here.

How would you prep this humi?

You may want to try some type of active humidification source like the Oasis for something of that size.

    Another cabinet humidor...any thoughts??

Humidity devices at the botton does not necesarily means bad. Most cabinets will need sometype of circulation device, a fan to get humidity to the top. Aristo does an outstanding job, and Avallo even creates humidity channels so that the moisture can easily reach the top of your cabinet.;)

    Green Nasty Mold!!! #$%

Wipe down the wood with some glycol solution, and let it dry out under the sun. When I used passive humidification, propylene glycol solution was the magic touch to keep humidity under control. ;)

    Review: Z-Plus Torch Lighter Insert

I love my Z-plus. To hell with Colibri (I know, that company hasn't even come up in this thread but I just wanted to throw that in there:D) I do believe that there is room for improvement, ie: a real adjustable flame, mine is so high at the lowest setting that I could burn my nose if I'm not...
