If you were to buy 1 box of cigars.... What do you suggest I buy for my 1st box?

I would buy a box of JdN Antano 1970 Consul because they're pretty cheap (<$70) and I hear they're going up in price. They are a great smoke with tons of flavor and age really well. Another great cigar is the DPG Blue label. I picked these two because I just ordered a box of each of these:ss

    La Aroma de Cuba

I liked the flavor on the churchills I've smoked, but had some really bad tunneling issues on one that made it very hard to smoke. The next one was better but still tunneled. A bit disappointing for me.

    What was your first cigar?

Either a Swisher Sweet or a Dutch Masters. I smoked a bunch of both as a youth and don't remember which came first.

    Does anyone not like Padron?

I smoked a x000 maduro awhile back and was disappointed. Since then my palate has matured and I've smoked a few PANs and PAMs and loved them. I smoked a Padron Londres the other day and it was great so I think I'll have to revisit their regular line.

    Strongest Cigar You Have Smoked

I agree with most posters that the Joya de Nic antano and the LFD chisel are very strong. Never been crosseyed by either but I have a strong nic tolerance. I had a Padron 1926 80 years that I thought was pretty strong as well. It seems my favorite cigars are the ones with the bite. :ss
