Sorry to thread jack but I don't feel like starting my own thread for a quick question.
Of the Tatuaje cigars, which would you guys consider to have the least amount of spice?
If it were me.
For the smoke in 9 months I'd buy a box of Padron Londres. They come in boxes of 26 and can be easily found online for under $60.
I'd buy a box of Cuban Monte #2 to set aside long term.
For something that's supposed to be so bad for you, there sure are a lot of old guys sitting around puffing on cigars.
I figure just smoke in moderation and you'll be fine. If cigars give you cancer then you were going to get cancer anyway.
I spoke with the Padilla rep at West Coast Cigar's Padilla tasting regarding how the maduro's look a little blotchy.
What he told me was that Padilla does not use any artificial methods to darken their Maduro leafs other then the natural fermentation. No steaming, cooking, or dyes. However...

Out of all the cigar companies out there I think that Padron is the only one that everyone likes. Even talking cigars at the cigar shop, I can't recall one person every speaking out against Padron's.
So seriously, does anyone not like Padron?
My wife and I have separate bank accounts. Half our income goes into a joint account for joint paying bills (mortgage, utilities, etc). Half goes into our personal accounts (car payments, insurance, cell phones, etc).
I can spend my money on whatever I want.
The Oliva V Lancero is one of my favorite sticks.
I will agree that it has a rather muted taste that stays consistent. It's subtle flavor combined with a creamy smoke aftertaste makes me a happy man.
If you want something with a little more flavor and changes taste as you smoke it, I suggest...
