What is it about strong smokes

When I first started smoking I was attracted to stronger smokes. Now I prefer the milder ones. I attributed it to my inexperienced palette. I needed to feel like I was smoking something, as I couldn't pick out the more subtle flavors of a milder stick. :2

A gift from a "guy i know" (pics)

Yeah I've seen NC Cohibas with the black and yellow band here near Cleveland. I went into a little smoke shop that sells some cheap stogies to buy a can of butane when they caught my eye. My first thoguht was these people either don't know what they have or they are pretty bold displaying...

    I feel betrayed, would you?

I am pretty much done altogether with b&m's. I posted my last bad experience with them here on CS. I get better prices and service from online vendors. Walk away, let them feel it in the wallet. :2

    Cigar.com?

They are the same, cbid included. They all come out of the same city, Bath, PA I think. As far as customer service, cigar.com has always been great. They respond to emails almost immediatly. :2

What brand as let you down the most?

Padron: I loved the x000 series and the Annys. Now They taste so bland to me. Fuente: Gave up on Opus, put some away to forget about for a couple of years. I will smoke the sharks though, and BTL. Camacho: I really tried to like this brand but I just can't. Worst experience would have...

    B&M Etiquette

Just an update. I have since asked the lady who I assume owns the b&m in question what her cigar selection policy was. To my surprise she said the way I was selecting them was fine. I thought this was great and went on my happy way. That was around December of last year. I hadn't had the...

    Crisis Barely Averted!

Your pooch just probably assumed that the same rules applied to the Oliva that apply to dropped food. If it hits the floor it's his. Can't blame him for wanting to enjoy a quality smoke. :ss

    CBid offering "higher end" auctions

Unless they have changed something, cbid has always offered these from time to time...so long as you are willing to pay $30.00 + per stick. :2

    cigar poker...worth the money?

I'm not sure if the pokers made specifically for cigars are tapered or not. I have a shish kabob skewer that I use from time to time and if I'm not very careful it will split the wrapper. :2 I'll have try the paper clip though.

    Welp, I'm ruined.

The #50 is my favorite Anejo, except the shark, can't beat a #77, unless all you had was a #50, in which case you would be doing pretty alright...did that make sense? Anyways, I like the #50 very much, I try to keep at least 5 in the humi at all times.

    How many do you smoke?

One a day usually. I don't like to smoke while I work. I like to be in a relaxed setting at home or at a smoke friendly place. :ss
