Well the week has finally come. I am heading out for a trip to Rocky Patels operations in Danli, Honduras this Wednesday through Saturday. We get to stay at Rocky's personal residence and tour the fields and factories. I am told that we can smoke as may cigars as we want. So my question is...
I keep trying these in different sizes and from different sources; and they just do nothing for me. I find this strange because I do enjoy a full bodied peppery smoke and many of Olivas' other offerings. Tonight I am going to give the special S a try.

I have to give the edge to the Vinotemp as well. Once set up with beads and enough cigars the vino is so simple to maintain. Plus the added benefit of not having to worry about your cigars getting to warm. It my take you a while to fill it but if you are serious about the hobby you will only...
I really tried to like these, as I do enjoy many of Olivia's offerings. I smoked three of each wrapper after varying periods of rest and found them to be lacking in richness and complexity. I also found myself having to slow my smoking to a snails pace just to keep the damn thing from burning...
I have only had one Casa Royale from the recent Holts high noon deal and found it rather lacking with regards to complexity and overall flavor. Supposdly these use the same wrapper as Tat blacks and they definetly smell the same. I did pick up some nice flavors off the wrapper but also picked...
My sentiments exactly. I two enjoy the Black and JJ much more than the Vegas Cubanas. I have found that they do have there place when you are looking for something with some sweetness and don't want a Maduro. I am aging a box I got off the recent Joecigar deal. Interested in seeing hoe they...
I too have only smoked one of the decades and so far found the couple of ITC 10ths much more enjoyable. I have a couple more of each resting so will try to confirm my intial thoughts on the two cigars shortly.
I smoked an 07 about a month ago and found the first half to be excellent but at the mid way point the flavors started a slow fade until the end. It was however a very good cigar with some of the smoothest smoke I have ever had.
This is easy just explain what could happen to all your cigars if you get an infestation of cigar beetles and have to replace all your expensive sticks with new ones. After all at the sale price of $150 it is no more expensive than a box of quality smokes.
I did a box split of the Sun growns with a buddy and was underwhelmed with the first one so I am going to let them rest for a while. Might just have to give the Maddies a try if you guys like them so much.
I have been told that Famous and Holts have them but I would just wait for Taboo. They restock often and with Rob's crazy coupons they are priced right.:tu:tu
I use an array of single and double flame torches. If I really want a soft flame I pick up the cigar matches. I've always felt that bics are best used for cigarettes which I don't smoke.

I'm in the 7 to 10 a week range. I guess the most I have smoked in a single day would be three and find myself smoking 2 a day more frequently. I do however take day off every now and again.
I've only smoked 1 and gifted 2 from the 10 I got from Smokeyscotch. The one I smoked started out very good but the strength and flavors did fade as the cigar progressed. I think I will light one up tomorrow as they have about a month of humidor rest now and am curious to see if they have...
