Smoked the Cohiba on Sat night. Great smoke... The first third was very smooth and sweet to the front of the tounge, after that it went sort of a buttery smooth. With about 1/5 left it got spicy... Not bad normally but it didn't fit in with the rest of the smoke. Outstanding, thanks again...

    Drew Estate Java

The one I tried to smoke last week would have made me sick had I forced it. Fortuantly I don't believe in forcing a bad stick. I pitch them and grab another. What a nasty cigar. I'm with ya.

Tatuaje Red Label Verocu with a heaping dose of Vitamin N!

Very good review. As to Vitamin N, it's all gonna be relative. I'm not overly fond of the nic as it seems to close the back of my throat, but I do like a spicy (read that as bite maybe) and a full bodied smoke. No wimpy or thin tasting or smoking cigars.

Nope I had a bad weekend for cigars... No matter what I smoked nothing tasted right, even my goto smokes were off - so I held off. We are having a party on Sat (Cajun themed food/seafood) so it is set up to be the guest of honor. Brining the unbanded one you passed to me as well.

    perdomo patriarch

Other than the Lot 23 (which wasn't bad - just ok) Perdomo is a pretty good line. Good flavors, smooth sticks and will not break the bank.

wife looking for humidor gift info

I agree with the above.... 300 ct means maybe 220 - 240 sticks. For the amout you are willing to spend there are a bunch in that size. If you look at Taboo Cigars and use a coupon on this forum you could even save a few bucks.

19 Short years - RIP Young Man

Prayers to you and your family..... As to the speed and helment.... As a rider if you people (in the general sense) in cages would eat at home - not in the car, not text and make phone calls, worry about how you look in the mirror, etc, those of us who do ride might make it home. My wife...

While I love my GJ, it's not a bourbon.

Looking for a "smooth" entrance to Bourbon

Absolutly the smoothest, least bite and excellant over ice and a lime wedge on the side (appearence counts :). The Evan Williams Single Barrel is both affordable and excellant. Easy to spot, it's the only EV bottle with a wax seal on the top. There are some other good bourbons, but come with...

JBO was commenting on the Victor Sinclair Corojo yesterday that they are good. Not sure what size or shape he had in mind though.

That's the cigar that started me down my slope. Still love them and very affordable.

    school me, on corojo

I agree, the Camancho is a fuller bodied smoke where as the Perdomo is a bit "lighter" or mure subtle. But I love them both! Amazing how much the same but different they are.
