I perfer a punch to a cutter, but do use both. I find that the punch is cleaner and I never have a draw issue (other than a bad stick).
There really is no true pro or con to either it is truly about personal preference.
One other thing, Joel Sherman gave a lecture at a Herf I attended in NY and...
To be honest (although it depends on taste), I really think the Habano wrapper is the best of the lot. It is a little stronger than the Cammie and Conn and has a really nice flavor.

First, I just want to throw out big Kudos to Marc.
I received my shipment of Esencia cigars this week and was extremely impressed with not only the cigars but the packaging as well. This brand was obviously well planned and no expense spared at its creation.

I depends on a couple of variables. Morning or Afternoon tee time, which golf course, weather, etc.
But for most days I like the CAO Black VR or Padron x000.
If it is a really nice day and the weather is nice I always bring a PSD4

The 5, 10 and 15 ct boxes come with the thinner foam as the boxes are smaller. The 18 and 30 ct come with the new sturdier foam.
I used to carry the 15ct with me and when the 18 was released I switched to that one, it is a much bigger box even though it is listed as only 3 cigars larger.

It is hard to tell which one (Armored vs. Otter) is sturdier so to speak, but they are both going to do the job. My Uncle has an armored humidor and I carry the Otter Boxes (acutally, now Cigar Caddy as they split off the company from Otter), so I have seen both in person.
The main difference is...
I find the Calibration paks to be pretty accurate. I never liked using the salt test as the accuracy is dependent on how you make the salt mixture.

A couple days is probably not long enough for seasoning. You also don't state what you used for seasoning. I would put in a bowl of distilled water and let it sit for at least a week and the RH should level out at around 70%. Then you can add your Bovedas and put your cigars in.

Loki,
I will be starting a Blazer GB shortly. I was asked by another member to organize. I would have done it already, but I did not want to step on RA's Evertch GB. Once that is finished I will post the Blazer GB info.

Most adjustable Hygro's are good. There are many different models out there. I have 2 different adjustable units on my site, one Round and one Rectangle.
If you find one you like, use the "csdiscount" coupon at checkout for 5% off.

Actually 85% is kind of high even for seasoning, with the humidor at 80% with out the bowl, your cigars probably soaked up a lot of excess moisture. I would take out he sticks and put them in zip locks and let the humi sit open for a while, and then let it stabilize with the beads in it without...
Depending on how quickly you are looking to pull the trigger on a lighter, I have been asked by one of the members here (The Duke) to put together a group purchase on Blazer lighters. I am working out the details and will be posting in the next few days in the Retailers Section.
Luke should get...
If your heart is really set on the Salerno from Tampa, then you could buy that unit to hold singles and get a cooler to store boxes for aging and just move a few at a time to the desktop.
In the end, you need to decide how much more you like the smaller unit than the larger unit. My guess is...

The Medici is a much better deal for the price. If you are interested in this unit, or any others I have, you can use the "csdiscount" coupon at checkout for the 5% Club Stogie discount on your order.
I also carry a number of Blazer lighers that are very good. The PB-207 and CG-001 are very...
In most cases this depends on the the preference of the buyer. There is really not a big difference in funtionality from a glass top humi to a solid top humi.
The one possible downside to a glasstop is that the glass has another place for a bad seal that would cause the RH to drop.
As long as...
