Let me start by saying a couple of things: I love Don Pepin Garcia cigars. This won't be a review about nuances.
I'm sitting in my back yard smoking the DPG Black corona with a Kona blend black coffee. I bought the coronas because I'm a fan of the DPG Black robusto, and I figured the smaller...
OK. I've read the reviews here. I have smoked a handful of the 68s and really like them. I'm interested in the following cigars in the Illusione line, and I would like your feedback and recommendations:

OK, I haven't bought any of these yet but I'm thinking about it. I think the Liga A is the Edge and the Liga C is the Olde World Reserve. Is that correct?
What do you folks smoke with your coffee?
I like the Rocky Patel Edge corojo and the RP Olde World Reserve corojo, I think mainly because they don't overpower the brew.
I like the Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve corojo cigars, and I recently got 30 of the toros. Since CI has fivers on sale for $25, I was thinking about adding 20 or 25 of the torpedoes to the cooler. The question is, will they get better, stay the same, or fade away if they sit for a year or more?
OK. I liked the red label Tats that I've had. I'm buying a box of the Angeles for sure but since I'm a big robusto fan, I figure the Nobles is a no-brainer, right?
Your thoughts?
As I read reviews on the Angeles on Top25Cigar, there was mention of construction problems with this cigar- unraveling wrapper and plugging issues. I've only smoked one, and it was fine.
Since I'm thinking about buying a box of these, I'd like to hear from the crew here before I buy 'em.
Thanks
First off, I've only been smoking cigars seriously for a few months, so have mercy on my naive palate.
I got my hands on a couple fivers of The Edge corojo, in missile and toro. I also got 10 of the OWR toro corojo. So far, I have smoked 2 Edge and 1 OWR. They tasted like the same blend...
This morning, I decided to enjoy my coffee in the back yard with my dogs and a cigar. Since there was a fiver of Rocky Patel Edge Missile Corojos in my cooler that have been resting for a month or so, and I decided it was time to try one....
After clipping the cigar, I toasted the foot until it...
I smoked my first Tatuaje Noellas today. It started out great- terrific flavor and nice spice. The great experience continued until the cigar went out at about the half-way point. After I relit it, it seemed both the spice and the flavor changed. And not for the better. The spice was pretty...
I've caught the DPG bug.
I smoked this cigar in the back yard while talking on the phone to a friend I haven't spoken to in a couple of weeks. He's in Tacoma, I'm in Northern Illinois.
The pre-light draw didn't have much flavor, except a hint of the spice to come. I toasted the foot with my...
Guys, I recently had a couple of the DPG Blue Firecrackers (3x50), and since I liked 'em, I want to try the fuller experience of a larger vitola. So I ask you: which do you like better, the Invictos or the Generosos?
First of all, I want to thank cryinlicks for the gift- over the top generosity!
The Firecracker is 3x50, so it didn't last long. I snipped the cap with my new Palio and toasted the foot with my free Taboo triple torch. Sadly, the lighter ran out of fuel during the ritual and I had to run...
Another short review from the new guy with the undeveloped palate...
I smoked a Padron 1964 Anniversary Exclusivo natural this evening.
For starters, these cigars look great. They smell great, too. Just a nice mild, enticing tobacco scent. I cut the cap, toasted the foot, and puffed away...
Unless it's a knockoff, this is probably the cheapest one you'll find....
