Shopping and Shipping at Heartfelt Industries

One of (if not the) best retailer I've dealt with through the internet...really, even beyond the internet. Several years ago, at the beginning of my cigar experiences, I was using the small 50 count humidor with the little brick hygro...I was always having problems with it (drying out...

To give or not to give.

You've got lots of good suggestions, but here is a couple more... The CAO Mx2 is a pretty nice smoke with a nice dark wrapper - makes some who are new to cigars think they're smoking something exotic, but it's really a pretty mild smoke - and I think it is within your budget (~$5) Another...

    Phoenix/Scottsdale cigar store

Hey guys, Sorry I didn't respond sooner. Gone through an acquisition and been pretty much out of commission for a few weeks. I'm gonna be out in Scottsdale this weekend (Friday through Wednesday). :D Friday-Sunday is recreation (wife and I will hike Camelback, maybe do a balloon ride...

    Phoenix/Scottsdale cigar store

Howdy all, I'll be making a trip out to the Phoenix area in about 4 weeks and I'd love to know if anyone has a recommended shop or two for me to check out while I am there. I have a small travel humidor, but I'd actually prefer to leave it at home and do a little shopping while I am out there...

    CAO Gold

I'm with ya'll in the CAO camp...I've tried several and only been disappointed once (I think that was a humidor issue, too wet). If you are a maduro fan, you might want to give the MX2 a try. I think those are my fav CAO. Lots of good flavor but not too strong. Good balance. Grizz

    Vendor question

Thanks everyone for the input...I think I'm gonna give it a run. I'm sure ya'll have been doing this (online ordering) for a while and it's a no-brainer for you; just taking me a bit to get comfortable. There's something about stepping into a store's walk-in humidor and putting your hands on a...

    Vendor question

Mods: If this is not appropriate, please kill it - I apologize if not a legit posting. I'm thinking about ordering a box (or two) of AF Short Story from Billboardtobacco.com. Does anyone know anything about them that I should be aware of? Is there someone else that you would recommend? I've...

    JAVA by Drew Estate

First, I have to say that I tend to lean toward maduros, darker the better. So, I was in my local shop the other day and looked down at the "new" area and staring back up at me was a super dark, shiny new cigar called JAVA. Now, I'm not a real fan of the flavored cigars, but after picking this...

    Favorite place to smoke?

Not in the house...wouldn't go over too well with the family and, honestly, I wouldn't want the house smelling of smoke either. We are lucky with this house in that we have a nice big patio out back looking out over the trees and the big greenbelt behind our house...deer, turkey, hawks...

    Texas Herfers

    Thanks to TxMatt

This might be seen as out of order (or may not even be in the right place to post something like this), but I felt compelled to pass something on to everyone... I'm pretty new here and have been learning a great deal from everyone, and I truly mean everyone, as well as being welcomed in...

my crappy review of a cao mx2 belicoso

I've enjoyed all three Mx2's...had a couple of boxes (1 of robusto and 1 beli) over the past several months and, for the most part, the smokes have been consistent and satisfying. I have had a couple (beli's) that ran on the hot side and were a bit harsh, but I can't rule out that it was me...

La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero Chisel

I had the 'pleasure' of the maduro LfD DL this past weekend while sitting with work buddies in the Texas hill country on a star-filled night. We each exchanged a stick (sort of a PIF, but only one stick) and I ended up with the DL (I passed a CAO Anniv Cameroon). This was my first ever LfD of...

    Edge by RP Torpedo M

I was in my local shop yesterday and he was stocking the "Edge Bucket" as he called it...said he couldn't keep this thing full. Told me to come back in two days and it would be empty...I'm pretty sure he had about 100 each (natural and maduro) in there. I got curious and bought a maduro. I...

    CONTEST: Whats in the box?

Oh, darn!! I put the wrong one...probably too late to change my vote for today (and probably wrong anyway)...but if I can change it I'd like it to be the Mini Belicoso. No prob if I can't change the vote...had those two in mind and went and wrote the wrong one... :tpd:
