How do you drink your Zaya?

I've found that I really like sipping rums neat. If I have one that is a little "off" to my taste i might add a cube of ice. For the majority of the rest of my "sipping spirits" I'm a bit of a wuss, I must confess. I tend to go more on the rocks with my whiskeys and scotches.

When was the last time you were WOWED...

Last night as a matter of fact. I smoked a DPG Cuban Classic after not having one for a while and the time resting in the humidor made all the difference in the world. I could not believe how much better, and good, this cigar tasted.

    DPG Cuban Classic

Smoked another one of these last night. It has been a month since I had smoked one and these have now been resting in the humidor for over two months. Wow! What a totally different cigar. The initial Pepin spice/pepper blast upon lighting but immediately settles into a smooth, sweet tobacco...

    Oliva V Lancero

Although I haven't run into any burn problems with the Lanceros I think the other sizes definitely taste better. And I like Lanceros in general.

    Betsy Ross - Clear Havana

I think you misunderstood my inquiry. I wasn't looking for your source. However, your post told me all I needed to know. You bought them from a business. I wasn't aware that cigars this old could be bought. I figured you got them from your great aunt Myrtle or something. Thanks for...

Smoked my first Padilla today ... not impressed

The hybrid is one of those smokes that just doesn't jump out at you and say, "I'm a great cigar". I've bought my last of those. I would like to try some other Padilla's though.

    Sancho Panza extra fuerte

Wow. Thanks for reviving this thread as I wasn't around when it started. I must say that this one qualifies as one of the oddest reviews I have ever read. Just a little too much information as far as I'm concerned. I could have done without the visual of some dude laying halfway out of his...

    Short cigar questions...

I was on a never ending search for the short smoke and bought tons of tins to try. I was always disappointed in that they never seemed to taste like their bigger brothers that they were modeled after. Then I found the Padron Corticos. I buy them every chance I get now and stopped my quest for...

    Mild cigars tasting the same.

It seems as though you do notice differences as evidenced by this portion of your post. Maybe your palate isn't as noobly as you think. Best advice... smoke what you like Bro!

Smoking man cave ready for operation

^^^^ And topping it all off is the vintage Farrah Fawcett poster! No red-blooded Gen X'er in the world that hasn't had that poster. Classic! :tu
