I left the cello's on my Opus to help prevent handling marks or damage during storage.

For ground shipping, I've had no problems at all with FedEx. Compared to UPS they are much faster, and they also deliever on Saturdays, which UPS does not. If it's not a huge package, and it's going coast to coast, I'd do USPS priority mail, UPS Ground sucks, takes over a week in most cases.

I have the 70% beads, but they've never gone any higher than 66% in cooler, so I guess it works out. :)

Sure did. Their prices are just flat out awesome on some stuff. They have tons of singles, but only seem to have a few brands in box quantity.

Went to my B&M at lunch, they had boxes of Padron 3000's for $88.25 per box. So, here I am, with a box of maduros next to me. Never seen them that cheap before! Cheapest I can find online is $108. :ss

My first "good" lighter was a Xicar Exec, I scrapped it for the Blazer 207. The Xicar was bitchy about fuel, wouldn't light on the first click, and has a tiny fuel tank. The Blazer always works on the first click, and holds a ton of fuel.

Party Source is a good place, I buy most of my sticks from them. They have some really good prices on singles. I noticed on a few brands it's cheaper for me to buy 24 singles from them than it is to order a box online!

The Oliva G maduros are good also. So are the Partagas Black's.

Re: Od way to open a draw If it works, go with it. I've used a golf tee on some larger ring gauges to open it up, that worked good to.

My smoke to watch the fireworks is going to be an Ashton VSG. It's not even 1pm yet and I'm already on stick #2. First was a LGC Wavell maduro, current one is a Tat Series P.

Tat series P are a pretty good value, they come in boxes of 31 and can be had for around $2.50 per stick.

I guess I am lucky, my B&M sells both the Opus and Anejo for $1 over MSRP when they have them. They do have a limit of 4 sticks per customer, and they usually sell out within 2 days.

I did Matt's mod to mine to boost up the flame, pretty cool. I'm going to see if I can drain it and clean out the jets with something to make it more reliable. I won't be going back to it, love the Blazer, but if I can salvage it as a backup, I will.

Some of it could just be the lighter, the Exec doesn't seem to have a very big fuel tank.

Throw em out or burn em. I do keep the Opus bands because I like the way they look.

Maybe I am missing something there, but why go cheap on your hygrometer? It's the most important thing in your humidor, for the cost of buying a couple Walmart cheapies and seeing which works you could have just bought a good one to start with.
