    Short cigar questions...

I've recently purchased those Shrapnel mini-cigars you see in the CI catalog, and I've gotta say, they are pretty decent. Made from the same filler as the Victor Sinclair Bohemian blend (I like those cigars), these are about a 5-10 smoke. You can get them with or without sweetened tips. I...

    Supporting your LB&M

As a retail store owner, may I make a suggestion? I'm reading lots of guys saying something like "I'm paying $25 for four, and can buy a box online for $150". Have you asked your local B&M if they would meet or get close to the "standard" online price? Maybe not the price that you've spent...

PLEASE READ - Your RG Tool Is Inaccurate

I'm with everyone else. I don't want a refund if it comes out of your pocket. And I'd be fine with my refund being used to pay the S&H for the troops.

    Free cigar from Cigar Fox

How about this: A man is only as good as his word, and a man that doesn't stick to his word ain't worth nothin'.

    Free cigar from Cigar Fox

Yup, never got mine either. I don't like broken promises, and all I seem to hear about Cigar Fox is how they f-up and then try to play catchup and fix it. Unless of course they decide not to fix it all, as in this case.

    CI: "Toothy"?

Well, I think I've already showed that it's common. :) I just don't think it's particularly well understood... Thanks for the education!

    CI: "Toothy"?

So "toothy" refers to the sandy bumps on a wrapper? Are you telling me that a majority of cigar smokers know this to be a fact? It's funny, but that isn't what I intuited when I heard that description...

    CI: "Toothy"?

I was just reading through the latest CI catalog, and I can't help but notice that 1/3 of the cigars have a "toothy" wrapper. Obviously they have fallen in love with that term (and have way overused it). Who in the world thought that was a great description? What does it mean?

    Never Ending GB for Palio's

Got mine as well. Is it normal for the two parts to separate?

    Anyone tried these?

While not a huge Acid fan, I have enjoyed the ones I've had, as a "change of pace" cigar. Some of them are sweet, but you know what? I like sweet. I love desserts, and a sugar-tipped cigar is a nice treat sometimes. It's like a dessert you can smoke! What's not to like about that? And some...

    Single Malt Scotch of Choice

Well, after reading every post in this thread, I decided to buy a bottle of Macallan 12 year old. I've got to say, this is some damn fine stuff. Thanks for the excellent recommendations, and I look forward to trying some of the other favorites that have been mentioned.

Hey Tyler, Welcome to CS! Glad you made it to the herf. We are planning another one sometime in late October or November. Keep an eye on the HERF forum for details, and I'll try to keep you posted. BTW, I'm gonna hang out at The Humidor this Sunday afternoon for a bit, I think. Ron will be...

    huge cigars....

You know, $20 for that thing isn't too bad. Maybe I'll get one for the next SMERF. At 9" and 140+ RG, I'd imagine that would take care of everyone's smoking needs for the afternoon...

    Beat the Heat

I usually do one of three things: 1) Sit outside and suffer the heat 2) Wait for the sun to set and go outsite once it has cooled off a bit 3) Smoke at the local B&M

    Cusano 18 Double Connecticut - Perfect 10!

The Cusano 18 was the first cigar that I fell in love with. I still always keep several in the vino for when I want a mild smoke with lots of flavor.
