    Citronella candle

:tpd: We put up one after building the new patio and didn't have a problem with skeeters all summer. When I mow, they swarm around me sometimes 10 or 12 at a time catching all the itchy critters I kick up.

    La Aroma de Cuba

One of my favorites. If you catch some reviews from awhile ago, they were a love'em or hate'em kind of smoke for most people. I hear a lot more favorable reviews now a days. They must be gaining in popularity. :ss Glad you enjoyed it Tred.

    How you spend your time

It comes and goes. When I get the fever, I can't read enough about all the new cigars out there and which one's are must tries for the month. However, when I get over exposed to the hobby, I try to take a break from reading so much and just enjoy the stock that I have.

    1st CI purchase....not pleased

CI is one of the tops. :tu They have always made good in my experience, except for the bundles of Pirate's Gold in the bottom of my humi. Of course I was the one who picked them out, ordered them, and attempted to smoke them, but they could have at least thrown up one of those automated warning...

    Favorite Beer

For me it's either Guinness or Peroni. Peroni in the warmer months and Guinness any other time.

    Dependable Smoke?

No matter how far I stray, these are always a welcome go-to smoke for consistancy alone.

Nester Reserve Maduro or El Mejor Espresso

I really like the El Mejor Espresso's right now. I just let them sit in the humi for a few weeks to rest from the trip, and they are a great smoke. I probably smoke 4 or 5 of these a week and havn't hit a dud yet.

    Do you remember?

Nice memory lane thread! A buddy of mine used to "borrow" tipped swisher sweets from his old man's truck when he would pass out after a binder. We'd smoke them behind an abandoned K-Mart after school. From there I moved "up" to glass tube gas station cigars, and thought I was pretty cool...

Cigars in or out of plastic when putting in humidor

For me I guess it just depends on the mood I'm in when that package arrives. Sometimes I take the time to remove the cello and sometimes I store them just as they arrive. I do think they tend to "relax" faster after the trip with the cello off, but that could very well just be my imagination.

    Best Cigar Cutters?

Since cutters are already on the table, has anyone used a Xikar Mean Sardine? If so, how are they? I've used my standard Xikar since 2001 without a problem, and wondered if these have the same quality in blades. And to stay on topic, my vote goes for Xikar Xi or Xi2 for everyday use.

    Sizzling sound while smoking????

I've heard it once or twice myself. I lean more twords a thicker stem burning off excess moisture than the beetle idea just because it was a steady sizzle/hiss/crackle throughout the entire cigar. On one stick the stem actually stuck out through the foot and remained for the entire smoke even...

    Te-Amo World Selection Honduran

Hey Curtis, Just a heads up, the CI (Cigar International) website has 5 packs of 5 Vegas so you can try them without committing to an entire box first. I think they were around 3 bucks a stick the last time I checked. :tu

    Local B&M ......rude, cocky

Life's too short, and I'd move on. First impressions are key to my repeat business. Bottom line, it's my money to spend how and where I choose. I make the effort not to spend money where I don't feel I'm appreciated for doing so. Nice choice on sticks. I havn't tried the Maker's Mark, so...

    Zippos and stogies?

I use matches at home, and a Zippo Blu when I'm out. I love my Zippo Blu. I've heard a lot of complaints on Cigar Forums because of the flint wheel, and in all honesty it cracks me up. Changing a flint out is probably the simplest and least time consuming part of the entire hobby. As for a...
