...That we have to post no smoking signs throughout our store. As well, we have to post "Smoking Permitted" signs at every entrance where smoking is allowed.
Now why, if we have a statewide smoking ban, would every business have to buy no smoking and smoking signs? It seems like you could...
I've recently realized that my method for lighting cigars has completely changed. I'm not sure when it happened; I used to only use matches; but now, I use a method that I don't think I've seen or read anywhere.
I use a flame thrower lighter, and at first gently toast the foot until it is...
I believe that I've hit the point where I would rather my own personal collection to my B&M's. Not the value, just the specific smokes. In the spirit of that I'll post a poll.
Which would you prefer; to be locked inside your B&M with access to their whole collection, or to be locked in a room...
I'm patiently waiting for Dion Giolito's newest line of cigars, Cruzado. I know that a few people have been gifted them from the man himself, but has anyone seen any in stores yet? Or Online?
I have had a few Padilla Habanos in my humidor for a few months. I was down to one that was still a DPG produced one, and then a few Padilla Produced. I've had plans to taste both cigars to evaluate the differences, and just got around to the test. That said, I lit up the DPG produced one...
I've been smoking a lot of cigars with my friends and a few of them have been developing a palate for them. That said, others haven't. These friends have been asking about flavored cigars. Rather then smoking alone, I decided to try to help them out.
Well, maybe I should've just bought them...
I know CA get's knocked here to no end, and sometimes rightfully so. Just a single high rating makes our favorite cigars go scarce because a bunch of people are chasing down hints of 7 year aged Madagascar vanilla.
That said, I like their rating system. Sure, if it was up to me they would...
I know many of you have seen the CAO Cubist ashtray.
Yes, it's awesome and I want one, but I don't smoke many CAO's. So rather then posing or buying a bunch of CAO's to justify the ashtray, I'm considering having a similar one made.
I love the shape, but I think it would be cooler if it was...
I leave the boxes containing my daily smokes open in my cabinet humidor to create a better display. These are the smokes that will not be aged and will be smoked within a few months. Is there any disadvantage to this besides beetles which I've never really had a problem with?
The other aging...
I decided to post a review of the DPG Firecracker as there has been a lot of interest in it. This is a very interesting cigar shape. It is a 50 X 3" cigar with a wick as a cap. I've found the wicks to be very delicate, so be careful.
This cigar started off with some classic Pepin spice...
I bought this hygrometer the other day to have a backup. I didn't realize that it couldn't be calibrated, and I put it into my humidor and its reading 10% higher then my other two.
Has anyone found these things to be that innacurate? I did a Boveda test and it seems to be consistently high.
My brother bought asked me for advice on a new humidor. I said, these guys on CS are doing pretty cool things with Vinotemps. He said no and asked what I thought about this one.

I thought it looked good...
I've been thinking about doing a thread like this for a while. It gives us a reason to revisit that cigar we've been hiding from view for all this time right before the 4th.
What is the best cigar (In your opinion) in your humidor and why haven't you smoked it yet?
I'll start. A Monte "A"...
I use a large video box to ship my cigars and I usually run them over to the post office. They are under 13OZ's though. Can I just drop them in any mailbox? Does it make a difference that they are priority mail?
Usually use UPS, but found out how cheap and easy click and ship is. Plus they...
This is my favorite weekend of the year. We have a fireman's carnival within walking distance of our lake house. At that carnival, the have assorted fried food, beer and clams in a big firetruck garage. They also have giant 1g cans on the picnic tables as ashtrays. Not the kind of place...
I am getting word that Tatuaje has released some more of the Tat black jars. If you've been looking as hard as I have, then now is the time to check your B&M.
I'm limited to two sticks at my B&M.:tg But I'm smoking a black tonight.:tu
Is there some sort of tie in between these lines? I noticed that New Havana Cigars sells both lines and in my area, everyone who sells Tat's sells Illusione. I consider the flavor profiles to significantly different, and would almost be surprised if DPG had anything to do with the Illusione...
