I support the troops because I was one of them... and in my heart I still am I support the troops because as an American citizen they are mine and they are in all our care... they deserve no less I support the troops because I know first hand what it's like to feel you are not appreciated...

I tend to lean towards the larger rings myself... 50+. I will buy cigars in the high 40's but generally stay away from the smaller smokes. Just a matter of preference.

Just came in after spending some quiet time with a Macanudo Maduro

I don't seem to follow a pattern... sometimes they end up in the yard, sometimes in the trash can, sometimes they just seem to disappear from the ashtray when I leave them out on the patio overnite. Maybe the woodchucks or the deer eat 'em

I agree with most posters on this thread... relaxation, enjoy the taste/aroma but for a couple other reasons also... I like the culture of it all: selecting a stick, the ritual of smoking a cigar, caring for them, learning about them. I also like the "it's a guy thing" element of smoking...

My wife will also occasionally join me... same as yours she prefers flavored (cherry in particular) smokes. Even if she doesn't smoke one, she wiil frequently come out and sit with me just because she "likes the smell". :ss Nice to know that they won't give you a hard time about it.

I realize I may be a day late and a dollar short in my take in this but here goes... When ordering from anywhere (not just cigar companies but ANYWHERE) they may ask for a phone number. If it's not "required" to process the order don't give it out. Look for the little asterisk or different...

Sorry forgot to mention... using Xikar 70% solution (new "in transit" beads are 65%). My humidity reads at around 73%... given the "1% off" for my hygro I am at approx 74%... I am beginning to think it's the cigars themselves... I have already maxed out to capacity:cool: I take the exit for...

Nice review... and in my experience, dead on. The first time I smoked a Padron it was a little strong for me (pretty early on in my smoking trials) but I had one a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed it.

As Kris said, I am having the same problem... I crack it open and the humidity drops... close it up and it rises back up again. My hygrometer is a brand new Western Caliber III... tested it and it pegged at 74% so that is not the problem. Just as a point of info... the seasoning instructions...

Ok to be honest I've only had a Twist but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

No I do not spit. I do however drool:dr, have a runny nose, belch and pass gas (I am a guy afterall) ((ahem... just kidding)) However... My brother-in-law is the goobermiester general... YIKES!! Smoking with him is hockadoodle doo time!!!!
