At first glance, in the very first picture in this thread, I thought you had an anti-gravity wall. It looks like the arms of a chair, and floating cigars.
Maybe I'm just overtired.
Christmas is coming up and I want to snag my dad a box of something. He's always liked Rocky and they're usually consistent--but what sort of body are these, compared to say, the fusions and vintages? He's not really a "powerhouse" type smoker.
I had one of these back a few months ago when I wasn't really sure what I liked, and just asked the B&M guys what they were into. It really has a great presentation and I was really looking forward to it...liked the taste until at the 2 inch mark the entire thing unwound. It was surreal. I don't...
I think you'll be fine. If you were going to age everything for 10 years maybe not, but I think people that want to separate everything out are probably being a little obsessive. I keep my Irish Hops and Dirts (Drew Estates) in the same humidor as my Davidoffs and PAMs and have not noticed any...
I smoke with the AC on and the window wide open. Don't notice any smell, but then again I only smoke on trips--say 2 hours or more. I do those about 2 or 3 times a month, so it's not like I smoke in it daily.
Since I have to move my humidor every time I grab a cigar--it's on a shelf without enough space to open properly--I store 90 percent of my cigars with wrapper on. If I have 10 of something, for example, one goes cello off on the top shelf, the other 9 go cello on down below.
Another way to get a bit of nose flavor (and my preferred method) without getting a ton of burn is to only let it touch the tip fo your nose/nostrils. Do this sort of like a french inhale (without the inhaling). I just open my mouth with all the smoke in it, and sort of "scoop" it out into the...
I think the Edge Maduro knocked me around a bit, but it might have been a mostly empty stomach as well. I've thrown up a few times from the nic buzz, when I was still pretty new and didn't know what to expect from certain cigars. Dark Angel (Drew Estates) had me puking in the bushes...
I really enjoy the experience of finding new cigars. I'd say "collecting" but I'm not really at the point where I'm after rarities or oddities, so I don't want to put that the wrong way. Gives me something to look forward to at work...
Also, in my age age range at least, cigar smoking really...
Regarding some concerns about my post:
1) By light it for me, I meant that he held a lighter to the cigar and allowed me to puff until it was lit--he didn't actually put my cigar in his mouth. I'd have told him to cancel my purchase if he did something that preposterous.
2) I am both a...
