Has anyone tried one of these new humidifers that are similar to the Cigar Oasis units?

I had seen it at Duke City Cigars website yesterday and was curious about it myself.

Here are the details they list:

Thats the one. My understanding is that you can adjust the hygro if it is off. They say it has a little set screw that you adjust.
 
I came close to pulling the trigger on one a couple of weeks ago.

I held off because I just couldn't find much info on them.

I like the size and the fact you can apparently adjust them. I'm not sure how the adjustment works though. I can't tell if it's just a basic fan/reservoir/wick unit or something a little more sophisticated with an actual control system.

So far, the sites I've found offering them don't go into much detail.
 
Stick with CO I have not heard good things about them.

CO at least you know you have Customer service.

Would be great advertising if a bunch of us use and review them.

I've got a little over 8 cu. ft. so I guess I would need 2.

I know that it comes with a thin power cord but, would it compromise the seal on a fridgedor type setup?
 
I bought a Le Veil as well and it was working fine until I screwed the top screw that holds the 2 pieces together a bit to tight and separated the sponge housing unit from the fan! I would say it's a bit on the shoddy side if we're comparing quality, the calibration function (a screw) is not working for me so unfortunately I am going to have to return it :hn
