Auction does anyone use it ?

I put three boxes of hard to find cigars in the auction section I could not help but notice that there was only one other item in the auction. I am new here is the auction a no no? Or just not used?
 
It's used. Some times more than others. I've bid and won several auctions the last year. Just a couple weeks ago there were seven cigar auctions going on at once.

Habanos samplers and harder to get domestics (Opus, PANs, PAMs, etc) seem to attract most attention. The ones that do least well seem to be those cigars that one can walk into any tobacconist and buy.


 
There have been 37 auctions over the last 30 days. Flipflop summed things up quite well. Not many folks are willing to buy something from an auction they can get at a online tobacconist, unless the price is right.

The CS auction was not intended to be a eBay style mega auction, but simply a place for ClubStogie visitors to share some harder to find cigars with other visitors...all in a forum where most folks know and trust each other.

If they don't, they sure should. I've won 4 auctions in the last couple of months. Great cigars, great service, and great guys to buy from!

They are good for the harder to find cigars.
