caliberation question

I am caliberating a new hydrometer. I read that it should read 75% after 8 hours. However, I left it in the ziplock bag and it is still increasing in humity after being in about 12 hours. Should I use the most recent reading or the one at the 8 hour mark? Thank you.

Everything I have heard said 24-36 hours.
You should probably wait at least 24 hours.

You should also double bag the zip lock bag. In case the first one has a small leak.

Wait till it stabilizes and then use that reading. It may take 24hr or more.
