This is my first review for Club Stogie as a fresh lowland gorilla so please bare with me...
I'm a fan of full bodied smoke and I tried my first Camacho upon recommendations from y B & M owner. This stick is made fromm 100% ligero from the Jamastran Eiroa plantation. It is a rather atractive dark brown torpedo with a very sober black and gold band. This babe had no sweet spots and had a nice and oliy wrapper. Pre-lit draw was a bit too loose. Once lit, it produces tons of smoke and it did not burn too hot. Initial flavor is that of straight on your face tobacco. Second third became slightly more compex and spicy with hints of dark cofee and leather. This cigar is a bit overwhelming at times and it is not for the uninitiated. Strenght reminds me of Litto Gomez' Coronado and of Diamond Crown Maximus although not as complex as any of those two. Burn was decent achieving 2 inches of a salt and pepper ash column. I would definitely recommend this smoke apres a hearty steak or stew dinner. I washed it down with mineral water but it might be suitable for a peaty single malt or a nice brandy. I believed I paid about $6.50 for this stick, a reasonably priced experience IMO.
