I'm looking to get a hold of some catalogs so that I can make a better informed purchase for my next order. Are there any free ones, viewable online or that can be mailed to me?

I'm pretty sure you can view and also request hard copies from Cigar.com and Cigarsinternational.com.

Holt, JR, and Famous also give free catalogs I think too.

I get one monthly from Cigars International ever since my order with them.
You can probably request one online, though.

I also get one from JR. I don't remember requeting one, though, and I haven't ordered from them yet.

The Holt's catalog is the most fun to look at aver and over again. You can sign up for it online to receive a hard copy or you can view it online.

For comparison shopping you should check out this site: http://www.cigarcyclopedia.com/webapp/

There is a comparison shopper on their site that lists the prices at all of the major retailers for each cigar in each size.

They also have a retailer/promotions section that gives you all of the cigar events and tasting in your area.

This is where I would start to get an idea of what price to pay. Then I would check with the vendors that post in the retailer section of ClubStogie and see what price they can get you.

hey, rampage - what better place than right here to gain knowledge for your next purchase? as mentioned, check out perelman's comparison shopper for prices, but go ahead and hang out in the reviews sections, etc, to get a better idea of most of the cigars available on the market.
